Made up of individual squares of larch wood, the Chess Cutting Board resembles its namesake in the board-like pattern of the wood’s exposed grain. Each square is imperfectly different. Its knots and age lines are present, giving a unique character to the board that only improves with time. 

Sanded and oiled with a matte finish, the cutting board rests on small wooden legs, giving the impression that the robust cutting board is delicately floating just above the surface.

The small rectangle shape makes it ideal as a presentation board for a cheese or charcuterie platter, too.
