Verso Design strive to create beautifully made, functional products from sustainable and recyclable materials - and this Lastu Woven Birch Basket, with leather handle, is a perfect example of these collective qualities.

Based on traditional Finnish birch basket designs, the Lastu has been rethought for modern day use with a double layer of wood and the addition of a sturdy leather handle for convenience. 

Made to stand the test of time, the Lastu has so many possibilities; shopping basket, a caddy for your fruit harvest, larder, clothes and cupboard storage, knitting caddy or even a lovely way to store small children's or dog toys.

We use the basket as our shopping basket in our store in Edinburgh!
