Form is a collection of minimal, geometric jewellery inspired by mid-century modernist art and architecture.
These simple, stud earrings are handcrafted using layers of pink blush Formica and solid brass. Each pair is subtly mis-matched, super thin and ultra minimal.
Tom Pigeon works with a family-run etching workshop on the West coast of Scotland to produce the bespoke metal pieces for this jewellery and then they cut, polish, assemble and finish every piece by hand in the Tom Pigeon studio.
Packaged in a black match box with brass emboss.
The metal on these earrings has been waxed to reduce oxidisation. Over time the metal will age naturally, developing a richer, darker tone.
Material: Solid Brass Panel; Gold Plated Posts; Black Sliding Box with Brass Emboss
Size: 10mm Earrings
Care: Over time brass, copper and stainless steel will become darker and richer, developing a unique patina. To restore the original shine we recommend that you gently clean the metal with a polishing cloth (we use Sunshine Polishing Cloths) or a gentle, polishing compound. Newly polished metal can be waxed with Renaissance Wax to protect the surface and avoid further tarnish.
This jewellery is splash proof but please avoid direct contact with water, perfume, creams and other sprays as these may cause discolouration. Where we have supplied your jewellery in a box, we recommend that you store it in this. All jewellery is best stored in a box or another container to avoid scratches and discolouration. Keeping metal jewellery air tight will slow down the rate at which it develops a patina.
Made by hand in Scotland
