Borja Moronta is a potter local to us here in Edinburgh and we are one of a few outlets that carry his work.
Borja Moronta is a ceramicist from Asturias, northern Spain, now working in his studio in Edinburgh, Scotland. He makes ceramics that follow basic, calmed and natural forms on a soft tone palette. Each piece is individually crafted on the potter’s wheel.

A very nicely curated store with goods from local artists as well as quality mass-produced items.
My wife and I purchased two of these--as a matching set--to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We both enjoy coffee and handcrafted, unique pieces. We much prefer supporting local artists (wherever they may be located) in their creativity and business. We were visiting Edinburgh from Canada, and it was nice to find this store that had a good representation of local artists from which to choose.
The socks are perfect - well made and beautiful colours. I also really enjoyed the handwritten note that the store sent.
