Polish maker, Agata, began Aku Ceramics back in 2016. She throws all of her pieces by hand in her central Edinburgh studio, making all of these small-batch makes unique in size and shape. Every piece is coated with a beautiful neutral glaze inspired by organic colours and textures.

I purchased these sandals after some research from already having bought a pair in a hotel gift shop about 5 years ago which I still have. They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever bought, I have walked miles in them inv very hot countries, and they have not bothered my feet at all, you forget you have them on! So happy I found a website sell them. Super fast delivery and will definitely be ordering again. 🙌
