Christmas Tree Top Stars
The last decoration to go on, and the one everyone looks at.
Stars in brass, wood, glass and folded paper, from small and understated to a piece that sets the tone for everything below it. Scale matters more here than anywhere else on the tree: too small and it disappears against the branches, too heavy and the top leans. Worth thinking about before the rest of the decorations go up, since the topper tends to decide how formal or relaxed the whole tree reads.
For stars to hang in a window rather than on the tree, see paper Christmas stars. For the rest of the tree, there are baubles and hanging decorations and garlands, or browse all Christmas tree decorations. Chosen at our London Street shop in Edinburgh, with fast delivery and gift wrapping available.
