Sophia McEvoy creates functional, beautiful pottery from her garden studio in Suffolk, UK. Her work aims to make everyday moments of pause, relaxation, and slowing down a little more special. Her studio surroundings are a constant source of inspiration, particularly the colour palette.
Her collection is inspired by rich natural hues and textures. Each glaze recipe is unique, mixed by hand from a blend of minerals and oxides, reflecting the ever-changing landscape outside her studio windows. Lovely spoons especiallyfor eating boiled eggs. I’m fed up of good cutlery getting discoloured. These are perfect and come in a wide range of colours as a very reasonable price. Lovely quality too.

I stumbled into this store on a trip to Edinburgh and it was a true delight! I love lifestyle shops and this one is at the top of my list. I have told so many people about Life Story and I love all the amazing things I purchased. Especially the ceramic coffee pot! They were so accommodating and even shipped the pot back home to the states. I will certainly be ordering again and will visit whenever I’m back in Edinburgh !
