House Doctor Coasters, Chocolate, Set of 6
Coaster brings a bit of texture to the smallest part of the table setting. Each coaster is handwoven from seagrass in natural chocolate tones, light in the hand but dense enough to take the heat from a small warm dish as well as the ring from a wine glass.
The set of six comes with a matching woven basket, which is the detail that makes them. Rather than being shuffled into a drawer, they stack neatly and stay out on the table, the sideboard or the coffee table looking like they belong there. At 10 cm across they suit glasses, mugs, small bowls and candles equally well.
These are handmade, so the colour, the weave and the size vary slightly from piece to piece, which is the mark of the making rather than a fault.
