- Material: Oak and Walnut wood (one of each). Ceramic grinder.
- As this is a natural material the items received may have variation in grain, colour and shape to the image examples. Recyclable cardboard presentation box.
- Care: The Conran Shop recommends keeping salt and pepper mills dry and wiping with a clean, dry cloth.
- If necessary, wooden mills can be wiped clean using a tightly wrung cloth or sponge and, if needed, mild, colourless dish soap. Wooden mills should be dried immediately using a cloth or paper towel. Do not soak in water or clean wooden items in a dishwasher, this can result in the wood splitting or warping. To maintain the quality and condition of the wood, it's recommended to occasionally apply a small amount of food-safe mineral oil using a cloth or paper towel. Leave the oil to dry before using. Do not over-tighten as this can damage the mechanism. Turn the grinder in the same direction, either clockwise or anticlockwise, to avoid salt or pepper getting caught in the mechanism. Hold the mill upside down when adjusting the grind so that salt or pepper are not caught in the mechanism, allowing the blades to adjust to the finest grind you want. Mills are not suitable for use with spices, coffee, or other substances.
