Reminiscent of vintage holiday postcards, this tranquil illustration features a sea view from a green balcony, with gold foiled low sun in the sky. A square matchbox that is also a mini artwork!
These long matches are useful for lighting jar candles, fires, and several candles at once and make for a lovely bundle gift alongside incense or scented candles.

- Materials: All paper and card is FSC accredited, matches are made only from sustainably sourced FSC wood and do not contain harmful toxins like zinc or sulphur oxide. All cello wrapping is biodegradable. The full product can be either recycled or will biodegrade in your food bin/compost heap
- Care: These matches are made from natural products and may contain inherent structural flaws. Whilst Archivist take time to test the matches, they cannot reasonably test every single one, so strike the match gently (easy does it!) and away from you, over non-combustible surfaces. When striking avoid holding the match from the very end, this will result in a more successful strike and reduce the chance of breaking.

We have extended the standard returns policy from 14 days to a generous 60 days.
If your purchase does not meet your expectations simply let us know, and then return it to us unused and in its original condition and packaging, including any labels which must remain attached, within 60 days of receipt.
Please note that the conditions 'unused and in its original packaging, with labels attached' is a requirement of our returns policy, we will not accept returns that are returned in any other condition. We will then either exchange it or offer you a refund, whichever you prefer.
The cost of returning any item is at the Customer's own expense. The only exception to this is if the item is faulty or was sent by us in error.

All orders are picked and carefully packed with a personal note from our Edinburgh store. We pride ourselves on recycling packaging and ensuring that even the most fragile pieces arrive safely and undamaged.

We offer customers the chance to sign up to our newsletter to hear about offers, special events and exclusives, for which we give you a discount off your first online order. There are some exclusions to this discount code, like Gift Vouchers, Sale items and some small brands e.g. Borja Moronta, Rosie Gore and others (see FAQ).
If you signed up after your first order, or forgot to input the code at the checkout, you can use it on your next one.
The discount needs to be used when the order is being placed online by the customer. It is not possible to use the discount for an in-store purchase (it can be used for click and collect) and the discount cannot be applied retrospectively to an order already placed.

Yes, Gift Vouchers are a great way to give someone a Christmas Gift from Lifestory. Our vouchers work both in store and online for maximum convenience. They last for 12 months from date of purchase.
How it works:
1. Choose one gift voucher or combine to make the amount you desire e.g. £50 + £20 = £70
2. The gift vouchers will be delivered by email immediately and have a 12 month lifetime
3. The gift voucher is a 12 digit code which can be redeemed online/in-store
4. If you don't see your gift voucher email within 5 minutes please check your junk mail as it may have gone in there
